Ingredients

1 onion
3 tablespoons of plain flour
1 tablespoon of oil
500mls of stock
500mls of milk
620g of frozen sweetcorn
4 frankfurters, cut into 1/2 cm slices (I used veggie ones)
100g grated cheddar
1 tablespoon of chilli sauce
3 tablespoons of chopped fresh chives

Why did milo make this dish?

I wanted to try somthing new !!

How to make Sweetcorn and Frankfurter Chowder

Serves 6
Heat oil in saucepan.
Cook onion for 2-3 mins.
Mix in flour.
Gradually stir in combined stock and milk.
Cook on low heat until mixture thickens.
Stir in sweetcorn and cook until corn is nearly done. Add frankfurters and chilli sauce and cook for 5 mins to heat the frankfurters.
Remove from heat and fold in cheese.
spoon into boal scatter chopped chives to finish.
