100g double 00 grade Plain flour
1 large egg
Tea spoon of olive oil

Half a tin of Chopped tomatoes
1 anchovy
1 clove of garlic (chopped)
Salt , pepper
Any fresh herbs available (only 1 kind )

Why did Matilda make this dish?

I made this dish because l was given a pasta machine for Christmas and I love cooking.

How to make Homemade tagliatelle with a homemade tomato sauce

1.First ,pour the flour into a bowl and make a hole in the centre and crack the egg into the hole.
2.Beat the egg softly with a fork and gradually add the flour from the sides until the flour and eggs are blended.
3. If the mixture is to dry add a small amount of lukewarm water if to wet add flour. Next , remove the mixture out of the bowl and place on to a lightly floured surface . Knead , until the mixture has progressed into dough . If the dough is to sticky keep on kneading. Then, cut the dough into 1cm thick pieces .Feed the dough through the machine as it says on machine instructions . Get a pan full of water and put it on the boil until boiling and salt the water then place the pasta in and time for 1 minute. Tomato sauce:first,cut the anchovy and put in a pan with a teaspoon of olive oil then chopp the garlic and put in the pan until fried .Add the tomatoes and pepper and herb and mix . Drain pasta then add to the tomato sauce and there you have it . To serve grate cheese on to this delicious meal ( optional) .
